At an earlier point in my life, before I started going to school for graphic design, I thought I wanted to be an illustrator. I looked up tutorials on illustrating, improved drawing techniques, page layouts and book bindings. The things that I picked up helped me to make awesome gifts for friends and relatives, and the lessons I learned are priceless. But to me, one of the most important lessons was page harmony. Page harmony is the subtlest little touch that makes a document, illustration or book pages more appealing to the eye. By following a few simple steps, your finished page will be more appealing to the eye, and you will know where most of your text, body, and graphics need to go.
